About

Adam Lerner, MD, is a medical oncologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Professor of Hematology and Medical Oncology and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Lerner is an expert in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, lymphoid malignancies, sarcoma, breast cancer, and cAMP signaling, a process that controls a range of cellular functions including growth, differentiation, and more. At BMC, he provides care for patients with blood cancers, skin cancers, and sarcomas (bone and soft tissue cancers). Dr. Lerner is a member of the BU-BMC Cancer Center, the BU Evans Center for Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research, and the BU Genome Science Institute. At Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, he mentors students in the Graduate Medical Sciences program.
