Directions and Transportation
Boston Medical Center is located off of Route 93 in Boston's Historic South End.
The medical campus is situated across several city blocks between Harrison Avenue and Albany Street and Massachusetts Avenue and East Newton Street. View Campus Map
Get directions by car, as well as information on carpooling and parking at Boston Medical Center.
MBTA buses operate seven days a week with less service on Saturday and Sunday, except the CT3, which does not operate on weekends.
BMC is accessible by the MBTA subway using the Red, Orange, Blue and Green Lines.
All stops on the Orange Line will be closed for 30 days, from Friday, August 19 at 9 p.m. through Sunday, September 18. More information, including other transportation options, is available at www.mbta.com.
We ask that you continue to arrive on time for all scheduled appointments. Please allow extra time to get to BMC for all types of travel. Clinics will make every effort to accommodate patients impacted by the MBTA changes and will help reschedule appointments as needed.
The hospital is accessible by bicycle and there are bicycle racks available throughout the Boston Medical Center campus.
Parking at BMC
For all BMC destinations, paid parking is available in the garage at 710 Albany Street, 7 Melnea Cass Boulevard or in the Doctors Office Building garage at 720 Harrison Avenue. Valet parking is available at the main entrance of the Menino Pavilion at 840 Harrison Avenue, as well as in front of the Doctors Office Building at 720 Harrison Avenue.
