About

David R Lichtenstein, MD, is a gastroenterologist and Director of the Endoscopy Program at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Lichtenstein is also an associate professor of medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Lichtenstein ensures BMC’s endoscopy services are state-of-the-art, and is an expert in managing gastrointestinal disorders using endoscopy to make diagnoses, and performing interventional pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. At BMC, he also supervises the Gastroenterology Fellowship Program. He is a current fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).
