Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • 3 ounces (1/2 cup) dark or semi-sweet chocolates
  • 12 strawberries, washed and dried
  • Assorted toppings: chopped nuts, coconut, mini chocolate chips


  1. Microwave chocolate in a small bowl on Medium for 1 minutes. Stir, then continue microwaving on Medium in 20-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval. Or place in the top of a double boiler over hot, but not boiling, water.
  2. Sip strawberries in the melted chocolate. Roll in assorted toppings, if desired. Place strawberries on a plate with parchment paper and let dry.
