Total Time: 10 | Prep Time: 10 | Cook Time: 0

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup of skim milk
  • 1 cup vanilla nonfat Greek yogurt

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into ice cube trays. Freeze for at least four hours.
  3. When you want to make a smoothie, add 4-6 smoothie cubes to the blender along with your favorite fruits and veggies.

You can use any fruits, veggies, milks, or juices to make smoothies with this basic recipe.

The smoothie cubes can be kept in the ice cube tray or in a tupperware in the freezer for up to 6 months.

Extra smoothie can be frozen in ice cube trays or jars to defrost or put in other smoothies.

Blend the smoothie for about 30-60 seconds after it appears smooth - this will ensure all the chunks are blended.
