All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. About

Ruben Figueroa, DMD, is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a clinical associate professor at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. He received his dental degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Dentistry and his oral and maxillofacial surgery certificate from the University District Hospital, Puerto Rico. Dr. Figueroa is currently the director of ambulatory care at BMC, where he oversees the administration of all clinical services in the hospital setting. His research interests include rapid surgical orthodontics, complex surgical implantology, and dentoalveolar surgery. Dr. Figueroa's clinical interests include facial trauma surgery, complex surgical implantology, digital dentistry, and management of benign maxillofacial pathology.
