A graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2003 and the emergency medicine residency at BMC in 2007, Dr. Spector began his attending career as core faculty at the Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia. While there, he fulfilled multiple roles in the education division, including Clerkship Director, Assistant and then Associate Residency Director. He returned to BMC as faculty member in 2012, and was named Associate Residency Program Director at BMC in 2015. He has worked closely with the Council of Residency Directors (CORD) in multiple roles, co-leading multiple committees as well as spearheading didactic content for CORD. In addition, he serves on the education committee of the Massachusetts chapter of ACEP. In 2019, Dr. Spector was named Residency Program Director in emergency medicine at Boston Medical Center, a position he currently holds. His academic interests include feedback in medical education as well as education theory
