About

Alison Tam, MD, MPH, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, Dr. Tam completed a psychiatry residency and community psychiatry fellowship at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. During her fellowship, she was awarded the Nasir Khan MD Public Psychiatry Scholarship to pursue a Masters in Public Health at Boston University School of Public Health. Dr. Tam's interests lie in community psychiatry, public sector psychiatry, healthcare systems, health policy, quality improvement, and resident education.
