Bump & Beyond

Most newborns feed at least eight to 12 times in 24 hours. Frequent feeding is normal and helps them grow.

Weekly Affirmation

Feeding my baby is enough; I am enough.

Breastfeed often to help keep your milk supply up—your breasts don’t need to feel hard or full all the time to be making enough milk.

You might feel a tingling feeling when you think about your baby or start a feeding as your milk lets down.

If you have a lot of pain in one breast that isn’t getting better, plus fever or chills, those are signs to ask for help from your provider or a lactation expert.
