Your baby is the size of a cauliflower!
Your baby may kick when they hear sounds like a truck passing, music playing, or a familiar voice. You can even encourage older siblings to talk to your baby.
More fat is building up, making your baby’s skin softer and less wrinkled. Their nervous system is growing stronger and faster each day.
During pregnancy, your body needs more iron to make blood for you and your baby. If you feel very tired, weak, short of breath, or dizzy—or you look extra pale—talk with your care team about anemia.
Eating iron-rich foods (like beans, lentils, leafy greens, fortified cereals, and meat) and taking your prenatal vitamin as prescribed can help.
For an extra boost, pair iron foods with vitamin C, like citrus or peppers.
