Bump & Beyond

Your baby is the size of an artichoke!

They can move their face, yawn, and suck their thumb. Their nails are growing to the tips of their fingers. The part of their brain that helps with seeing, smelling, touching, tasting, and hearing is starting to grow.

You’ll have an ultrasound soon to make sure your baby is developing normally.

Support during labor has been shown to reduce C-section rates. It can also improve birth outcomes. Ask your provider about the Birth Sisters program or a doula for labor support.

Birth Sisters are people from communities around Boston who speak your language. They are specially trained to give you support during pregnancy, birth, and after the baby comes.
