Having dressing on hand makes it easy to fix of a delicious salad. This dressing has some nutritious ingredients for a nutritional boost: flax seeds (omega 3 fatty acids good for brain and immune-system health) and herbs.
Ingredients
Oil
- ½ cup flaxseed oil or olive oil
Lemon_juice
- ¼ cup lemon juice
Vinegar
- ¼ cup cider vinegar
Flax_seeds
- 2 Tablespoons
Herbs
- 2 Tablespoons fresh herbs (such as basil, oregano, parsley, chives) or 1 Tablespoon dry herbs
Garlic
- 1 clove garlic, minced, or ½ teaspoon powdered
Sugar
- 1 teaspoon sugar or sugar substitute
Salt
- ½ teaspoon salt
Pepper
- ¼ teaspoons ground pepper

Step 1
Put all ingredients in blender and mix until thick and smooth. Refrigerate.

* Flaxseeds must be blended or crushed to reap the benefits.
