Acupuncture promotes natural healing and has been used for thousands of years to treat a large variety of ailments. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being. Acupuncture is safe and painless. Free appointments are available to BMC patients who are currently or were recently in treatment for cancer only. Introduction to Wellness

Mondays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. 
Dept. of Family Medicine, 11 Melnea Cass Blvd.

This is a one-time, two-hour, medical group visit that focuses on healthy nutrition, stress reduction, and learning ways of decreasing toxic exposure from personal care and home care products. After completing the visit, patients are offered access to additional services through the Program for Integrative Medicine and Health Disparities. Such services include weekly group visits for various conditions, acupuncture, massage, yoga, mind-body relaxation sessions, and more. Open to all BMC patients.

Living Vibrantly

6 weekly sessions, 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. *Call for dates

This is a six-week group visit for cancer survivors and others with chronic conditions. The two-hour sessions focus on nutrition to decrease inflammation, the mind-body connection, and stress reduction. The aim is to empower patients to improve their overall health and sense of wellbeing. Open to all BMC patients.
