All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. Anti- seizure medications, also called anticonvulsant therapy or anti-epileptic drugs, are medications used to treat epilepsy. These are the most common treatments for epilepsy and successfully treat and prevent seizures in many people by controlling abnormal electrical activity in the brain.

There are many different types of anti-seizure medications. Your doctor will choose one based on the types of seizures you have an the underlying cause of the seizures.
