This recipe uses an alternative sweetener other than sugar, so it is a great snack for diabetes that won't raise blood sugar as much. Nuts contain a lot of protein and keep you satisfied for longer. 

Ingredients


Egg - 1 white Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon Salt - 1 teaspoon Sweetener - ¾ cup , Monk Fruit, stevia, erythritol Nuts - 3 cups pecans, walnuts, or cashews Cooking_spray

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 250F.
Step 2
In a mixing bowl, add the egg white and whisk until frothy.
Step 3
Add the sweetener, cinnamon and salt and mix well until combined.
Step 4
Add the nuts and mix until coated.
Step 5
Spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Lay the nuts out on the baking sheet in a single layer.
Step 6
Bake in the oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. The nuts will brown and get crunchy.
