COVID-19 Antibody Clinical Trial
This study will test if a combination of antibodies against the COVID-19 virus can prevent people who are exposed to the virus from becoming infected and getting sick with COVID-19.
People who enroll in this study will either get a one-time dose of the antibody combination injected under their skin or a one-time dose of a liquid that doesn't affect getting COVID-19, like saltwater. Who gets the treatment or the placebo will be totally random, like flipping a coin.
After that, people in the study will be tested regularly to see if they have been infected with the COVID-19 virus, for COVID-19 symptoms, and for events like hospitalization. The first visit would be at Boston Medical Center. After that, testing will be done at Boston Medical Center or if needed, testing can be done at your home. This includes having blood drawn five times. The whole study lasts eight months.
