Emily Feinberg, ScD, C-PNP, is a certified pediatric Nurse Practitioner (C-PNP) and clinical and public health researcher at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and DotHouse Health in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. She is an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and an Associate Professor of Community Health Sciences at the Boston University School of Public Health.

Dr. Feinberg holds an undergraduate nursing degree from Boston University, an MSN focused on Parent–Child Nursing from Simmons University, and a doctoral degree (ScD) from the Harvard School of Public Health.

The focus of Dr. Feinberg’s research is improving systems of care for vulnerable children with complex conditions. She has a background in maternal and child health, including specific training in community-based research.

Recently, Dr. Feinberg’s work has centered on addressing disparities in behavioral health outcomes experienced by low-income children. She has served as co-investigator on a study that tested a model of collaborative care management for children with ADHD, and she is currently co-directing a foundation-funded initiative, TEAM UP for Children, to implement an integrated behavioral health model for children in community health centers. She is the site Principal Investigator (PI) of the Autism Adaptive Community-based Treatment to Improve Outcomes using Navigators (ACTION) Network.

As an educator, Dr. Feinberg has a long history of mentoring doctoral and postdoctoral students and junior faculty. She has served as the primary mentor/dissertation chair to over 20 mentees.
