Ingredients


Dates - ¼ cup, pitted, packed Beans - 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed Protein-powder - 2 scoops chocolate protein powder Nut-butter - ¼ cup peanut, almond or sunflower seed butter (unsalted) Salt - ½ teaspoon salt Cacao-powder - 1 Tablespoon

Instructions

Step 1
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a food processor or blender, combine dates, chocolate protein powder, peanut butter, salt and cacao powder. Blend until smooth.
Step 3
Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on baking sheet.
Step 4
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set. Enjoy once set!

This recipe can be enjoyed at Stage 4 of the bariatric surgery post-operative diet.
