Sushrut S. Waikar, MD, MPH, is the Chief of Nephrology at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a practicing nephrologist at BMC and the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. He specializes in treating acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease. Dr. Waikar is also the Norman G. Levinsky Professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of
