Sarah E. Valentine, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and a Clinical Psychologist at Boston Medical Center. She is the Director of the Program of Research in Implementation Science, Minority Stress, and Mental Health (PRISMM). Her clinical and research interests are in the dual treatment of trauma and discrimination-related distress. Research initiatives aim reduce health disparities by improve access to and quality of care for PTSD. Before coming to Boston Medical Center, she completed pre- and postdoctoral fellowships at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School.
