About

Julia Calandra graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy in 2021. After graduation, she then pursued two years of pharmacy residency training in Ambulatory Care with Mountain Area Health Education Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Her clinical interests include working with patients with substance use disorders, who are gender diverse seeking gender-affirming care, and public health. She is a firm believer in harm reduction, compassionate care, and ethical medical care to historically marginalized populations.
