Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

Ingredients


Almond_Milk_or_Water - 1 cup Fresh_Ginger - 1", sliced and crushed Cardamom_Pods - 2, crushed Black_Tea_Bag - 1 tea bag Almond_Milk - 1 Tablespoon (if using water) Liquid_Stevia - 1 Teaspoon

Instructions

Step 1
MICROWAVE METHOD:
Step 2
Add 1 cup of almond milk or water, 1" fresh crushed ginger, 2 pods of crushed cardamom, and 1 black tea bag to a mug.
Step 3
Microwave for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Remove from the microwave and let steep for at least 1 minute.
Step 5
Strain out the solids. Add a tablespoon of milk (if using water) and 1 teaspoon of liquid stevia before drinking if desired.
Step 6
STOVETOP METHOD:

Add 1 cup of almond milk or water, 1" fresh crushed ginger, 2 pods of crushed cardamom, and 1 black tea bag to a small pot.
Step 8
Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 9
Strain into a cup.
Step 10
Add a tablespoon of milk (if using water) and a teaspoon of liquid stevia before serving if desired.
