This is a delectable dessert, fun to serve to others at a gathering or party.  Dried dates are very sweet and sticky, making them the perfect ingredient to bind these truffles together. It is a perfect snack or dessert. 

Ingredients


Walnuts - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts Dates - 2 cups Water - 1/4 cup Cocoa-Powder - 1/2 cup, raw Vanilla - 1tsp Toppings - 1 cup chopped nuts, coconut or cocoa powder (for rolling)

Instructions

Step 1
Pulse walnuts in the bledner or food processor until fine
Step 2
Add dates, water, and vanilla and blend until combined
Step 3
Add the cocoa powder and blend until smooth and a dough forms (if the dough is too sticky, try pushing the batter down with a spatula. If it continues to stick, slowly add 1 tbsp of water at a time).
Step 4
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour
Step 5
Using a tablespoon, scoop out the dough and roll into a ball
Step 6
Keep in the refirdgerator or at room temperature
