BMC’s Yawkey building doors are now closed as an entrance as part of our ongoing efforts to enhance our campus and provide you with the best clinical care.

All patients and visitors on our main campus must enter our hospital via Shapiro, Menino, or Moakley buildings, where they will be greeted by team members at a new centralized check-in desk before continuing to the hospital. We are excited to welcome you and appreciate your patience as we improve our facilities.

The Modified Ketogenic Diet (MKD) is a more liberal version of the classic diet, often used when tapering treatment to a less restrictive form (like MAD or LGIT) or when there are barriers to achieving adequate dietary compliance. With a macronutrient ratio between 1:1 and 2:1, the MKD affords more flexibility, which can be beneficial for easing any gastrointestinal discomfort that might be associated with a high-fat intake.

Think the Modified Ketogenic Diet is right for you? Talk to your doctor and Registered Dietitian for a comprehensive evaluation.
