Alik Farber, MD, MBA, is the Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Farber is also a professor of Surgery and Radiology and the Associate Chair for Clinical Operations in the Department of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. He has extensive expertise in vascular and endovascular intervention to treat peripheral arterial disease, open and endovascular abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysm repair, diabetic foot problems, carotid artery surgery and stenting, and dialysis access. Dr. Farber is a member of many national and regional medical and surgical societies, including the Society for Vascular Surgery, the Society of University Surgeons, the Western Vascular Surgery Society, the New England Society for Vascular Surgery, the International Society for Endovascular Surgery, and the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery. Dr. Farber is a prolific researcher, having written and published many articles about vascular and endovascular surgery and having served as a principal investigator for a number of clinical trials.
