Haiku and Canto
What Are Haiku and Canto?
Haiku and Canto are Epic’s mobile applications, which are designed to give providers Electronic Health Record (EHR) access outside the clinic or hospital. Haiku and Canto are designed to increase a provider’s opportunities to provide care.
Functionality includes the ability to review a patient’s chart, respond to inbox messages, prescribe medications, take clinical photos, and document notes.
Use of Haiku and Canto is optional/supplemental. Their availability is intended to enhance overall physician/provider experience.
