Lucy Marcil, MD
Co-Founder and Executive Director
Lucy Marcil, MD, MPH is a pediatrician and social entrepreneur passionate about making life easier and healthier for individual families and using that on-the-ground experience to redesign systems at scale.
For a decade, Dr. Marcil has pioneered national innovations (StreetCred, Health by Wealth Collective) addressing economic strain and inequities to improve maternal and child health. She served as a health policy advisor in Congress as a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health Policy Fellow. She has consulted on maternal and child health care system redesign internationally in Kenya, Bangladesh, and Namibia.
Dr. Marcil is a national speaker (TED, PBS Brief but Spectacular, Aspen Ideas Health, Congressional and White House forums), and writer (RealClear Policy, The Atlantic, NEJM, JAMA Pediatrics, Pediatrics). Her work has been featured in outlets such as BBC, NPR, and The Boston Globe. For her work, she has been recognized as a TED Fellow and Aspen Ascend fellow. Dr. Marcil completed her MD at the University of Pennsylvania, MPH at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and pediatrics training at the Boston Combined Residency Program (Harvard University, Boston University).
Rachel Sagor, MD
Medical Director
Rachel Sagor, MD is a clinical innovator and educator with a focus on clinical innovations that promote health and financial equity. Dr. Sagor is the Medical Director of StreetCred, a medical financial partnership that integrates evidence-based, underutilized economic resources and services into routine prenatal and infant health care. Dr. Sagor has presented this work nationally, including to the FDIC, the Aspen Institute and at the Health to Hunger Colloboratory, where she received the 2024 Prize in Innovation. Dr. Sagor is the physician lead for BMC’s Primary Care Asthma Team where she has conceptualized, developed and operationalized new initiatives, including the development of an evidence-based acute asthma pathway to standardize the clinical management of patients with asthma exacerbations. Dr. Sagor has been the BMC Pediatric Primary Care clerkship site director, a Boston Combined Residency Program (BCRP) resident preceptor, and a Field Specific Advisor for 9 years and has been the recipient of many teaching awards, including the Distinguished Teaching Award from Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and the BCRP Faculty Teaching Honor Roll. Dr. Sagor was inducted into the BUMG Clinical Excellence Society in 2018. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from The University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her Pediatric Residency at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Lisia Morales
Director of Operations
Lisia has been working in the non-profit industry for over 20 years. She has experience in program management and business development. Lisia graduated from Wellesley College with a degree in Latin American Studies and Sociology. She earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University.
Barbara Amedoadzi
Project Program Coordinator, Family Engagement Lead
Barbara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University and a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Northeastern University. Barbara worked in Child Protection for seven years prior to joining BMC in 2020. Her passion lies in helping families rise above their financial challenges for the overall wellness of their children and to break free from generational poverty.
Sahar Choudhry
Clinical Operations Manager
Sahar was born and raised in Houston, TX. She graduated from Baylor University in 2020 with a B.S. in Public Health and then later with a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health Science from Baylor in 2023. Before joining StreetCred in April 2024, Sahar worked with the Teen & Tot program at BMC, a specialty pediatric program providing dyadic care to pregnant and parenting adolescents. Sahar’s work and research focuses on maternal & child health, with an emphasis on advancing health equity.
Beatrice Dorzin

Béatrice Dorzin is a dynamic Human Resourcess leader with over 13 years of experience driving strategic workforce initiatives across global healthcare systems and corporate sectors. She has led transformative change at organizations such as Partners In Health and Heineken, and currently serves as a Financial & Career Coach at Boston Medical Center. Her work centers on trauma-informed care, economic mobility, and inclusive systems that support employee well-being.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. She is certified as both a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). Béatrice is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Haitian Creole, and is also a certified financial coach and Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt.
Known for her insights on workforce development, cross-cultural engagement, and human-centered leadership, Béatrice helps healthcare leaders implement trauma-informed HR practices and culturally responsive strategies. Her work offers actionable guidance to strengthen care teams, improve retention, and advance equity and economic opportunity across organizations.
Amanda Amankwa

Amanda holds a B.S. in Public Health from the University of Maryland, College Park. She brings valuable experience working with individuals facing substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and other marginalized groups. Amanda aims to further her impact in this field by pursuing a graduate degree in public health, ultimately aspiring to a career in medicine. Her dedication to these communities drives her passion for creating positive change and improving health outcomes.
Annanya Agarwal

Annanya is a recent graduate from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. Originally from Palm Beach, Florida, she has worked with the underserved Guatemalan community, focusing on health disparities and youth engagement. These experiences have shaped her into a fierce advocate for patient-centered care and health education in underserved communities. Annanya is passionate about public health, holistic care, cardiology, and pediatrics, which she plans to pursue further in medical school.

Bella Prince

Bella grew up in New York and graduated from SUNY Geneseo in 2023 with a BA in Sociomedical Sciences, along with minors in Anthropology and Biology. She began at Boston Medical Center as an AmeriCorps member with the Grow Clinic, where she found a passion for working with children. With a strong desire to help others and a clear focus on healthcare, Bella moved to Boston after graduation to address health disparities in underserved communities. While at school, she had the chance to study abroad in Ghana, researching neglected tropical diseases. Bella plans to pursue a higher degree in either medicine or public health in the future, with a focus on healthcare for women, as well as maternal and child health.
