After-Hours and Weekends
- Urgent Medical Emergencies: If your child experiences an acute, life-threatening emergency (such as severe worsening head pain, repeated vomiting, seizure, confusion, or loss of consciousness), do not wait for the clinic—call 9-1-1 immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
- After-Hours Support: For urgent, non-emergency clinical concerns outside of regular business hours, families should contact the Boston Medical Center main operator or switchboard at 617.414.5000 and ask to reach the pediatric neurology resident or attending physician on call.
