When a person has an infectious disease, whether they are born with it or get it later in life, it is important they are cared for by a physician specialist who can help manage or cure the disease. BMC’s infectious disease pediatric specialists are not only experts in infectious diseases but also trained in dealing with the specific issues facing children with infectious diseases. We support both the affected child and their family from evaluation through treatment.
