Lucy B. Schulson, MD, MPH, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Internal Medicine) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
After earning her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and an MPH in Health Policy & Management ... at the Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, Dr. Schulson completed her internal medicine residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She followed with a fellowship at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine during which she conducted clinical research on health disparities, with a particular focus on patients with limited English proficiency (LEP).
Dr. Schulson practices primary care at BMC’s Immigrant and Refugee Health Center. Her research is focused on how health systems can be improved to address gaps in quality of care and patient safety to improve equity.
