Nourishing Greens is a cozy, soul-warming dish made by slowly simmering smoked turkey with broth, vinegar, spices, and plenty of tender collard greens. The long simmer creates a rich, savory cooking broth, while the sautéed garlic and greens add a fresh, comforting flavor. This simple, hearty dish is perfect for sharing at family gatherings and fits beautifully into Kwanzaa celebrations, where food, community, and cultural tradition come together.
