The Center for the Urban Child and Healthy Family

The Grow Clinic provides comprehensive specialty medical, nutritional, developmental social services, and dietary assistance to children with failure to thrive (FTT). In addition to providing clinical services, the clinic advocates for policies that decrease the number of children in need. 

This team works closely with families, schools, and primary care providers to support children's learning needs, such as aiding in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for children who might benefit or for plans with maximal supportive services.

This unique care delivery model uses a human-centered, family-driven design that integrates social work and community wellness advocates. Care delivery extends beyond other early childhood models to include economic mobility as core to addressing health-related social needs.

SOFAR is a medical home within the pediatric primary care clinic for children whose parent(s) have a substance use disorder. SOFAR provides ongoing support for families by fostering attachment, enhancing child development, providing recovery, parental mental health support, and facilitating access to specialty medical services within our clinic.  

CATALYST helps teens and young adults who use alcohol or drugs by providing access to a wide range of services, including primary care, harm reduction, assessment, and treatment of substance use disorders, psychiatry, psychotherapy, and recovery support for patients through age 25 and their families.  

This clinic brings together experts from Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, Neurology, and Psychiatry in an interdisciplinary care model that provides comprehensive support for people ages 14 to 24 with neurodevelopmental conditions.
