Welcome! Part of our role in WRAP is to help orient patients and families to the variety of treatment services available in the community. There is not a one-size-fits all approach to treatment - but our team is here to answer any questions or help problem solve around additional resources.

Crisis / Same Day Mental Health Services

Crisis Services (24/7, 365 day a year)

  • Call or text the Mass Behavioral Health Helpline 833-773-2445 or visit masshelpline.com to locate your nearest mobile crisis team.
  • Crisis services (covered for all ages, with or without insurance) can include crisis triage, evaluation, assessment, de-escalation, and connection to higher level of mental health care.
  • Parents, friends, and other supports can call on behalf of a loved one they are concerned about.

Psychiatric Urgent Care (UC)

  • For MassHealth members (some UC sites may take additional insurance)
  • Services include urgent assessment (same or next day), substance use treatment, MH referrals
  • "An 'urgent BH need' may include changes in behavior or thoughts that cause distress and require immediate support through psychiatric evaluation or therapy."
  • Not for individuals experiencing symptoms placing themselves or others at immediate risk of harm (instead contact 833-773-2445 or 911)
  • UC sites offer extended hours on weekdays and weekends

Department of Mental Health (DMH)

DMH offers supplemental services to medication and therapy such as case management, dedicates nursing, and supported housing options such as group homes. To learn more about DMH, view our WRAP Guide to DMH Services

Day Programs

Day programs offer skill development and employment services, along with social networking opportunities. Skills addressed include accessing transportation, independent living, budgeting, education, socialization, securing and retaining employment, and self-care


Group Therapy 

Group therapy offers a space to talk with others who are facing similar challenges. It provides peer support, helps you feel less alone, and builds meaningful social connection while you work toward your goals. WRAP offers a variety of group therapies for young adults and families, but know the days/times may not work for everyone we serve. Here are alternative/supplemental group therapy:
