Senior Community Wellness Advocate

Katie (she/her) is the senior community wellness advocate in BMC’s Neurodivergent Urban Youth (NUY) Clinic where she leads NUY clinic operations and supports youth and their families in navigating the transition to adulthood by sharing key information, connecting to services, and developing youth-centered resources and programming. She completed her master’s degree in child study and human development with a focus on clinical-developmental health and psychology at Tufts University and the leadership education in neurodevelopmental and related disabilities (LEND) fellowship from Boston Children’s Hospital. Katie’s work focuses on providing high-quality support tailored to each family’s needs, promoting equitable access to care, and developing accessible resources and programming that foster knowledge acquisition and meaningful participation. Katie is passionate about empowering youth to confidently navigate the transition to adulthood and build the skills needed to reach their goals.
