Director, Community Violence Response Team

Lisa Allee has been Director of the Community Violence Response Team since 2011. She is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Ms. Allee received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Northeastern University and holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Pennsylvania. Through her research, published in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, and numerous regional and national presentations, she has expanded Boston Medical Center’s reputation as a leader in trauma-informed care for victims and families who experience interpersonal violence.
