We will soon begin repaving the main driveway outside the Yawkey, Menino, and Moakley buildings. Weather permitting, driveway closures are scheduled for the following weekends, from Friday at 8 p.m. through Sunday at 8 p.m., on the following dates: Sept. 19-21, Sept. 26-28, Oct. 17-19, and Oct. 24-26.

Access Changes During Construction:

Pedestrian Access: Patients and visitors will be able to enter Moakley through the entrance on East Concord Street.

Vehicle Access: Vehicular traffic should use the designated drop-off and pick-up area on East Concord Street or the 710 Albany Street Garage. Signage will indicate where metered parking has been blocked off to create a drop-off/pick-up zone (on E. Concord between Harrison and the Moakley side entrance).

Prospective Rotators

Are you a current resident interested in rotating at BMC? We welcome house staff from outside institutions to take part in our exceptional training programs. Here, you’ll find everything you need to know, including licensing requirements, step-by-step application instructions, and what to include in your submission.

The Massachusetts Board of Registration in Medicine (BORIM) requires all rotators to have a valid Massachusetts medical license. You must apply on their website if you do not have a Massachusetts license. License applications cost $100.00 + $2.79 (online convenience fee) and, once submitted, can take up to eight weeks for Board approval.

Please note: Interns, residents, and fellows are not allowed to come as observers, regardless of the country in which they are currently practicing.

The program administrator of the BMC program you wish to join will provide you with a password that you must use to submit the electronic application (Google Form).

Once you have completed the initial application form, the BMC program administrator with whom you are working will grant you access to New Innovations. You will be assigned a rotator checklist (with detailed instructions) into which you can enter and upload all of the required information. The completed application should be submitted 90 days before your expected start date. Completed rotator applications are processed based on the calendar quarter of the rotation start date.
