Research Operations' Clinical Trial Office (CTO) launches its two-year training series on Clinical Research Billing and Finance with an introduction to the complex subject of research billing compliance (RBC).  Presented by  Research Education Manager Kaye Mottola, CPC, CHRC, and Mike Porreca, Senior Manager, CTO, “The Basics: Research Billing Compliance,”  will outline federal research billing rules and the reasons why adherence to these rules is crucial. 

Objectives 

At the end of the  seminar, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify basic RBC requirements
  2. Recognize the range of studies subject to RBC requirements, and
  3. Understand the role of RBC in participant and provider protections.
