"Being proficient at pre-award is necessary to have post-award opportunities.  The challenge is that post-award lasts a long period (beyond a proposal submission deadline) and involves a great deal of energy and documentation.  Factor in that most of the worst-case scenarios in our profession result from post-award actions and this makes for a complex, somewhat fraught job.  This presentation will examine post-award issues and best practices from the perspective of the departmental administrator."
