Patients with a diagnosis or strong suspicion of cancer are seen within 72 hours.
Catwalk for Cancer Care
On October 15, 2025, BMC patients and staff walked the runway at Catwalk for Cancer Care, a fashion show fundraiser that raised more than $330,000 (and counting) for BMC’s Cancer Center. The event featured one-of-a-kind designs and patient models including Eva, a three-time cancer survivor, who shared her inspiring story.

Our head and neck surgery residency provides training in surgery for head and neck cancers beginning in the second year. Residents receive hands-on clinical training and education at Boston Medical Center and several other hospitals around Boston.
Head and Neck Cancer Clinical Trials
In collaboration with the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, BMC offers a number of clinical trials specifically for head and neck cancer patients. Promising new techniques in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of patients with head and neck cancers are tested in these studies. The number and types of clinical trials available are constantly changing.
