Weather Advisory: Temporary Door Closure

Due to extreme cold, access through the Moakley Building's entrance off Boston Medical Center Place will be temporarily closed from 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, through 7 a.m. Monday, Feb. 2.

All patients and visitors should use the main entrance for the Menino and Yawkey Buildings during this time. The hospital remains open and operating as normal.

We appreciate your patience as we take these precautions during severe winter weather.

BLS Online Assignments for Nursing Department Staff

If you are a member of BMC’s Nursing Department- your HeartCode BLS online class is normally assigned by Nursing Education approximately 60 days prior to your current expiration date.

If you are within 60 days of your BLS recertification date and do not find the HeartCode BLS assignment in your Workday Learning account - please contact Lisa Falanga at Nursing Education to request the assignment. 

Once you have completed the online portion you can schedule your hands on skills session.
