Events

Our team also participates in many events through Boston in support of our community. Below are some of the recent events in which we took part!

2026 Events

June 7: Dorchester Day Parade

On June 7, our team walked in the Dorchester Day Parade for the second year in a row! Community Wellness Advocate Sam Jangala and volunteer Emma Santos were joined by Curbside Care families to celebrate Dorchester Day.

Dorchester is Boston’s largest and most diverse neighborhood, as well as Curbside Care’s most visited neighborhood.

April 15: New, Improved Curbside Care Van on Tour

Our brand-new van launched March 6, 2026! It was intentionally designed to be family-centered and inviting. It is more spacious to accomodate more family members and learners, even strollers! It has top-of-the-line equipment and can allow for more comfortable and OB/GYN–specific medical care.

On April 15, we toured BMC to show the vehicle to our partners across the campus! A huge thank you to everyone who came!

March 11–12: The Basics Learning Network Conference

Program Director Alice Cruikshank, FNP, and Community Wellness Advocate Sameera Jangala attended The Basics Learning Network’s 2026 Conference in Boston. The Basics Principles are “five science-based parenting and caregiving tenets that support social, emotional, and cognitive development of children from birth to age five.”

The conference sparked ideas about how to embed these principles into Curbside Care programming and beyond!
