BMC’s Stimulant Treatment and Recovery Team (START) Program is a program that uses evidence-based medication and behavioral health interventions to address the unique needs of people with stimulant use disorders. We provide personalized outpatient services to support your recovery, as well as secondary alcohol and opioid use disorders if necessary. to provide comprehensive addiction treatment in one place. Whether you're in long-term recovery to or actively using, you can get care in this unique treatment model.

Location and Contact

A department providing primary care to support patients of all ages, including adult and pediatric care, women’s health, and behavioral health.

A department providing addiction treatment for substance use disorders, as well as specialized care for related medical conditions and specific circumstances.

Research Overview

Research in the START clinic prioritizes the implementation science work of translating evidence-based interventions into clinical practice, including calls to enhance care for people with stimulant use disorder and guidance on leveraging primary care to treat stimulant use disorder.
