Sean P. Curran, MD, PhD

Sean P. Curran, MD, PhD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist specializing in critical care medicine at Boston Medical Center (BMC), and an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Curran earned his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and trained for a year in the surgery program at the University of California, San Francisco—East Bay in Oakland before returning to Providence to complete the anesthesiology residency program at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University Health. He then completed a fellowship in critical care medicine at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
