To help prevent the spread of seasonal respiratory illnesses, we strongly encourage all visitors to wear a mask while in ambulatory clinics or inpatient units. Sara M Alexanian, MD is an endocrinologist and Director of the Inpatient Diabetes Program at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Alexanian is also an associate professor of Endocrinology, Diabetes, Nutrition & Weight Management at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Her research interests include quality improvement, in particular as it relates to inpatient diabetes care. Dr. Alexanian completed her medical degree at Dartmouth School of Medicine in 2003, and has been practicing for over 15 years. She has significant expertise in the inpatient management of diabetes.
