Rebecca Miksad, MD, MPH, is a medical oncologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an associate professor of Hematology and Oncology at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. A nationally recognized clinician and health outcomes researcher, Dr. Miksad regularly publishes in leading medical journals, serves on national committees and lectures internationally. After receiving her medical degree from Cornell University, Dr. Miksad was a resident in internal medicine at Cornell University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and then completed hematology and medical oncology fellowships at Harvard Medical School/BIDMC. She also received an MMS from Harvard Medical School, an MPH in Clinical Effectiveness from the Harvard School of Public Health, and a post-doctoral fellowship in Cancer Outcomes Research Training (PCORT) at the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Program.
