Pushkar Mehra, DMD, is Chief of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston Medical Center (BMC). Dr. Mehra is also a professor and the Chair of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM). He is an expert in the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, and complex facial reconstruction including orthognathic, TMJ and cosmetic surgery. Dr. Mehra is the editor of three textbooks and has over 100 publications in medical and dental journals and textbooks. He has held leadership positions at many prestigious professional organizations, including the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, the Commission on Dental Accreditation, and the Massachusetts Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
