About

Dr. Pei-Ling Chang is a Primary Care Physician in the Department of General Internal Medicine at Boston Medical Center and is an Instructor of Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine.

Dr. Chang received his medical degree from the American University of Integrative Sciences and his bachelor’s degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. Upon graduating from medical school, he went on to train in internal medicine at MedStar Health in Baltimore, Maryland. During residency, he was actively involved with the local community through serving on the outreach and health equity committees. This gradually cultivated an interest in LGBTQ+ medicine, particularly gender-affirming care, as he became more aware of the significant health disparities affecting his community.

Following residency, Dr. Chang completed a fellowship in transgender medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. His research interests include gender-affirming hormone therapy with a special focus in feminizing hormone therapy management following orchiectomy.
