About
Neely L. Hines, MD, MBA, is a board-certified radiologist with expertise in breast imaging and neuroradiology at Boston Medical Center (BMC), and a Clinical Associate Professor of Radiology (Breast Imaging) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.
Dr. Hines earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and completed residencies in diagnostic radiology ... at both Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, New York, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston.
Dr. Hines initially joined the BU/BMC community in 2013 as an attending breast radiologist and served as Section Chief of Breast Imaging and Director of the Department of Radiology’s Breast Imaging Fellowship. During her term, she streamlined clinical workflow in the Belkin Breast Health Center, leading to timelier access to breast screening for patients. In 2016, Dr. Hines moved on to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and then to Atrius Health, where she rose to Associate Chief of Radiology.
In her leadership roles, Dr. Hines has developed patient outreach campaigns for screening mammography, implemented a peer mentoring program, and worked on quality improvement and systems integration during the merger of Atrius Health, Reliant Medical Group, and Optum Health. She holds an MBA from Quinnipiac University.
Dr. Hines' clinical and research interests include breast diseases, cerebral ventricles, cysts, echoencephalography, mammography, and neuroradiology.
