About

Dr. Joseph is a Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center and is an Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Medicine. As a high-risk pregnancy expert, Dr. Joseph cares for patients with complex conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, congenital cardiac disease, fetal anomalies, with a particular expertise in perinatal infectious diseases, such as HIV and COVID-19. Dr. Joseph is a health services researcher focused on embedded implementation research clinical trials to bridge research is focused on embedding clinical trials and implementation science to enhance the dissemination of clinical effective interventions to racially and socially vulnerable pregnant patients, on enhancing the quality of obstetric care and ultimately reducing disparities in preventable maternal death.
