Liza A. Katz, MSW, LICSW

Liza A. Katz, MSW, LICSW, is a licensed independent clinical social worker who provides outpatient mental and behavioral health therapy at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and serves as a supervisor to MHC and MSW interns in the Department of Psychiatry.

Liza holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the Smith College School for Social Work in Northampton, Massachusetts, and has worked in community-based clinics in both rural and urban settings. She is psychodynamically trained and her practice is relational and somatically oriented. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy and sees children, adolescents, and adults.
